The spring is here!

2 04 2009

The spring is finally here!  The last few days have been nice and sunny outside and that has spread into my workshop and my mood.

I’ve even managed to buy some great new fabrics that matches this mood and feeling.  What happy colours!  Even if the weather hadn’t improved a bag made out of these great materials would have lifted up any grey mood.

You almost need sunglasses!

I love them all and am sooooo pleased with my choices.

As soon as I got home I got straight to work as I was so inspired.  Here are the first of my new collection of bright bags, there are many more in planning. I just can’t keep up with all the ideas I have at the minute.

To be honest, it will be hard to part with them!  Which is your favourite?

Be sure to pop around again soon to see what I create with all the other bright and happy materials!

New Day & Evening Bags

23 09 2008

As mentioned yesterday, my top point on today’s ’To Do’ list was were Day & Evening bags.  These have more or less the same shape, it’s just the style and material that make them either appropriate for the day or the evening. So the day ones are usually more ‘cute’ and ‘playful’, to be worn with jeans or a casual skirt and top.  Whilst my evening bags usually are a little more elegant to be worn for example with your favourite LBD.

I love all of these new bags.  They are all so different from one an other.  I can’t even say which is my favourite. Can you?

New Evening Bags!

13 08 2008

I always tend to make very colourful bags especially when it comes to my little Day Bags.  So recently when I found this funky, retro silver material I though that it could possibly make great Evening Bags.  I just fell in love with it, as simple as that!

I made them and uploaded them yesterday and already my two favourite ones are gone.  (the all silver ones) I think that I will have to make more.  Obviously they are all one-of-a-kinds so they shall not be exactly the same.  But I think that they are perfect for a night out with a black outfit or dress.  What do you think? Would you wear something like this?

Also I think that the cords instead of bracelets for the wristlets might be something that I will make more often, as they fit any sized hands. So keep popping around to the site or contact me directly if you would like one of these too.

Also is there anything that you would like to see on my site? Any particular colours??? Any particular styles or shapes? Let me know suggestions or comments are always great.

Super colourful!

11 08 2008

I simply love my new Day Bags and more are on their way!

Here is one colourful example, I named this the Flower-Power Day Bag and it’s already up on my new site. I almost kept this one for myself to be honest.  I simply love the bright colours and the patterns.  It would look great with jeans and t-shirt but would look just as funky with your favourite LBD on a night out.

On my list of things to do today in more day bags and wristlets, so be sure to pop back around tomorrow.

New on my website

9 06 2008

I’ve just added some new Day Bags and Wristlets on my website so why not check them out.

Hope you find something you like.

I will be adding some new Shoulder bags tomorrow so be sure to pop around again then. ;-)

More new bags!

29 05 2008

And yes, the production continues!

Today’s new bags are my little ‘Day bags’.  I love the shape and size of these. They are so girlie yet still practical.  The size is perfect to go out with for a walk in town or a date.  For any occasion really. You can fit a wallet or purse, mobile, keys and a few bits of make up.  Everything you need really. I think that my favourite is the brown one with the flowery flap, I used this same material as lining for both the brown bags actually.  It’s a little 50′ies I think.  I just love it!

I also soooooo love the red ones!  Oh, it’s impossible to just pick one!!! I actually got all the pretty ribbons as a birthday present for my sister who still lives in Canada.  When I saw the ‘Bavarain’ one (right-hand bag) I had to get them for her, the idea was that she could use them on her next bag collection.  But in the end I just HAD to use them myself.  Sorry Sis!  In the end I got her something else! ;-)

Here’s a close up of both of them…  They are really nice quality as well, they aren’t just printed, but rather woven.  I should really have bought more.  Oh well, I will learn eventually, I tend to always make that mistake.

Which is your favourite?  Are there any colours that you would like to see in the future?  I would love to know what you think!
