Well, I thought Ramona’s comment yesterday on the ‘only one more day’ entry, about simply picking the best three comments was a really good suggestion but that was waaaay too difficult!  There are soooo many great ones.  Though I would love to highlight economyclass’ comment as in made me burst out loud with laughter! She was one of the few to use my suggestion, to tell me/us what weird stuff she had in her bag.  We’ll have to use that idea again!

So in the end I stuck to my original idea and used a randomizer.  I put in the total number of comments, 1 being the first comment and 65, as of this morning, the last. I’m really impressed with the amount of comments to be honest, it’s a lot more that I had hoped for.  Plus the information I have collected from the poll will be very helpful to me.  I understand more what people want to see and wear.  Though some of the information will be difficult to be put into practice, for example one of the colours people wanted to see bags in was turquoise. I love the colour, but the last few times I’ve been out to buy material I have simply not found any.  Another difficult one will be making diaper bags, I have no children of my own, therefor don’t understand the needs.  But loads of friends are having babies so I will have to talk with them. 

Anyway, I’m going on and on and I bet that all you want to know is who won!

This is just a short reminder that today is your last day to have your say in my handbag poll and to add your comment. 

Tomorrow, March 31st, first thing in the the morning I shall be picking three lucky winners and getting in contact with them for their addresses so that I may post their prize.

I’ve been thinking about how to do this fairly, short of having to write all the names on little pieces of paper and using a hat. My best idea so far is to use an online randomizer.  So basically the first comment would be number 1, the second # 2 and so on, in the randomizer I would then put in the maximum number and let it pick three numbers.   The first three numbers it picks will be the winners and will also be able to be checked by you.

New Wristlets

A couple of new Wristlets can finally be found on my site as of this morning.

I think these would be perfect for a night out on the town, when all you need is your mobile, keys, lipstick and a bit of cash or debit card.  They would make the perfect like accessory to any black dress. New Round Handbag

I love this new bag, it will be perfect for the spring and summer.  The thick denim means that you can stuff it full.  It also means that you don’t have to worry, you can put it at your feet in a beer garden or throw it on the grass without worrying that it might look dirty afterwards.  The lining is a cute green and white chequered cotton. As usual there is a small pocket on the back for your keys or mobile and an interior one as well for your wallet or purse.  I think this would look great with jeans and sweatshirt or with a light skirt and tank-top. It’s both sporty and girly!

Dublin

We went away for a few days at the weekend for my husband’s birthday; it was great!  We went to Dublin to see the sights food and drink the good beer.  In the end we didn’t do that much sight-seeing, but did visit many, many pubs and drink way too much beer.

This morning it’s hard to get back into the swing of things.  I’m feeling rather tired, the weekend was great but not all that relaxing.

More new totes!

Wow the feedback so far for these new-shaped tote bags has been great.  Now, I don’t know how I could have ever doubted them. I added two of these to my website this morning.  I hope you will like them too. I’ve done the changes that I mentioned in my last blog entry about these too.  

            

I’ve added another pleat, so it’s super poofy, which I love.  I also added a small interior pocket so that you don’t need to search for your mobile or keys. But I kept the one partition as many people have asked for them in the past. Lastly I lengthened the straps a little so that you can wear these with a jacket or coat. You’ll have to go check out the rest of the pictures on my site, the linings are really bright!
