Just opened a Flickr account and started uploading pictures in order to add one of those cool ‘Flash badges’ on the right hand side of my blog.  Sadly it turns out that you can’t add them to WordPress for security reasons :-(  I have added a widget with RSS feed to my Flickr account but it’s so boring.  It only uses the pictures that were uploaded last. The proper Flicker badges picks pictures at random and moves around, which is so much better as it draws your attention.  They are so easy to create as well.

All you need to do is go to the ‘Make a Badge’ link on the tools page, I mean it doesn’t get any easier.   Well for those of you who aren’t on WordPress, have fun adding your ‘Flash badge’ as it is super flash!

Hey,
My name is Marina. This is the first time I’ve been to your site - I found it through google today. The first bag I saw that I really loved was the round handbag with a sort of asian silk strip down the middle and an orange ribbon stretching from one corner to another. You have absolutely beautiful handbags and messenger bags as well as little make-up purses. I’ve always had a sort of bag problem. I’m 17 and have recently switched from bookbags to messenger bags to large handbags for my school books. However, I seem to be the worst person to pick these things. Every messenger bag I’ve owned had a problem with it - the material was dyed with some sort of color that leaves grey prints on my hands (the one I currently picked, surprise surprise), or the bag fell apart, or it was uncomfortable to wear after a while.. etc. There were of course those that I stopped liking the day after I bought them and wondered why it was that I wasted so much money on a bag that was so hideously unoriginal, didn’t fit anything, and had no pockets to begin with. When I found your site today, I was honestly inspired. I want to start on some sort of little project to create one of my own bags with my own design that’ll hopefully suit me well. I’ve never been crafty and sometimes have trouble simply cutting a straight line (good luck to me on the project, ey?) but I’m really looking forward to trying this out, though I know that all my measurements will be way off and I’ll probably end up with some kind of deformed contraption. But hey, I have to try.
Thank you for the inspiration. Once again, your work is absolutely amazing.
Wish me Luck,
Marina. =)
